Claro 6.1 Review: Standing box with a bite
In terms of sound, the Sonor Audio Claro 6.1 is beyond almost any doubt. In the test of the magazine “audio” it does excellently, the sound is incredibly broad and present and takes care of different sound frequencies and instruments precisely. The 2-way floor standing speaker doesn’t ignore vocal passages either – on the contrary. Voices are clearly highlighted and are therefore the focus of the listener. Nice: Since the bass reflex ports are in the front, you are a little more flexible when it comes to the choice of location. The package is rounded off by a first-class wood finish and massive, stable base plates with height-adjustable spikes. For almost 3,500 euros, that should also be a matter of course.
Sound judgment: 96 points
Price / performance: “Outstanding”, “Recommendation: Emotion”
“The wood finish looks noble like hardly any other loudspeaker in this test field. … It’s amazing how much sound power can be extracted from just two chassis. It was fine, elegant, wonderfully rich in emotions. … Here, fine-tuning was not done on the computer, but with the ears. You can feel the love for every little detail. … swim in the sound, but please no brutal party sound. “
